Jackson Spalding approached Southend with a branded show concept for Orkin

The Premise
The premise was Hot Ones but with bugs, adding a celebrity chef and Orkin expert preparing and tasting bug-infused dishes and the goal was clear: Earning brand attention for Orkin through chef-led content.

The PROBLEM
The challenge as if that wasn’t enough? It all had to fit within one day of production due to budget and talent availability.

OUR SOLUTION
We took their concept and turned it into a show outline, working closely with our chosen director, to design a 12-15 min show that would keep audiences watching through 5 different dishes, each more daring than the last. The format had to include cooking and preparing the meals, fun facts from the Orkin expert, AND also center around a tasting segment of each dish.
